Electrical Design ENGINEER(1):

Experienced Designer to work in the Drawing Office of the Engineering Section, to   cover drafting and design work requests from Steel Plants, Rolling Mills, DR-Plants, Utilities and   Cranes as well as drafting and design work requests from Project Engineers.

Qualifications

Applicants should have attained a minimum HNC or equivalent standard in Electrical Engineering and have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar or heavy engineering organization. Good command of spoken and written English is essential.

Computer literate being able, to manage files, and use general office software such as: Excel, Word, etc.

Duties

The main duties are the preparation of Electrical Engineering Drawings associated with installation work of equipment and new facilities, including the modification of existing plant drawings, using MicroStation CAD software.

To work independently with minimum supervision, based on initial information given by Project Engineers. This includes site visits to develop such project work, in liaison with the respective Plant Department, with ability to work to deadlines.

To update existing plant drawings related to Plant maintenance and improvement requests.

* Knowledge of safety procedures associated with site visits in heavy industry and safety aspects related to electrical investigation work relating to switchgear etc. 

* Ability to make design, prepare and check Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering drawings   according to DIN, VDE and IEC Standards.

Conversant with the designation of electrical parts of Plant and items according to DIN40719 (Alpha numeric designation with = Plant, + Location, - Type and Count Number, : Connection)

To oversee and check work of subordinate CAD operators.

Answering site queries and problems relating to drawings.

 

Electrical Project Engineers (2 numbers)

Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering

An experience of 5 to 8 years in Project Management.

On hands project experience in project execution from the project idea stage till project close up.

Preferred Work experience in the Steel industry.

Work experience in electrical maintenance or process engineering.

Specialty in one of the fields for electrical,

Instrumentation

Power

Automation

 

Auto CAD Draughtsman (2 numbers(1 electrical +1 mechanical))

Minimum diploma degree in autocad or microstation.

An experience of 3 to 5 years in industrial Projects cad drawings Mechanical or electrical.

On hands experience in project drawings of plants mechanical and electrical equipments.

Preferred Work experience in the Steel industry.
